I wonder what percentage of the store estate has been converted to the 2018 look? Can't say I've noticed any examples in the north of England - presumably it's progressed better further south?
The Newcastle store has been considered for closure multiple times over the last few years (if rumours are ...

Re: The Tesco & other non-Morrisons supermarket thread
You'll probably be aware that Asda's Smart Price range got some publicity lately as it was fully restored to stores following a reversal of an earlier decision to withdraw some of the range (and increase prices of some products).

Re: The Unofficial Sainsbury's Thread
Believe they were almost all done with them before, can't remember ever seeing an ASDA shop in a petrol station unless it's an ex Co-op station or some other store like Benton was for a bit. Re: Energy bills: How spanked will YOU get?
Personally I’ll be getting spanked. We rent an all electric flat so have to be savvy about cheap tariffs.
Similar situation over here. Our fixed deal with Octopus ended in May. At the time, its variable tariff was the best on the market, by quite a bit. Its customer service by email is fine, so ...

Them describing themselves as being "in active dispute with ITV regarding this" did give me a chuckle, I must say.Jonwo wrote: Mon 30 Aug, 2021 20.32 I know it's his thing but by God, This is UTV's constant moaning about the continuity announcers is boring as hell!

Sure everyone will appreciate this echo from the past, as seen in Newcastle:
