I always find it interesting when historic bank branches are removed and previous frontages that were carved into the building itself are exposed.
When did banks start using all the coloured metal and plastic on their buildings?

I've noticed my local stores playing any music.. must be lucky (or not!).
It's radio ...

I noticed one of the branches in Aylesford had a Café open a while bake...
Was surprised to see it as the Café near my place in a former Savacentre closed along with the others in 2022, and this was a much smaller store. Only two months ago a Starbucks opened in the vacant space.

Well, the pcworld.co.uk link has redirected to currys.co.uk for a number of years now. I don't think the PC World name crops up anywhere at all now, been a while since I've seen a shop with the joint Currys / PC World branding.

Well that's reminded me to book my appointment..
They've sent me numerous letters and text messages that my test is due over the past few months...
Now what did I have to do again?

Re: The Unofficial Sainsbury's Thread
I suppose it allows them to do an “*excludes Local stores” on adverts if they’re only running an offer in full stores. I don’t think there’s any supermarket with a blanket brand for all stores is there?
Not quite a blanket brand but I do think all M&S Simply Foods are just called Simply Foods ...

Oh I do think I've seen those.
I hate when companies try to be 'funny' or 'relatable'. It just rubs me up the wrong way.
Was worse during the pandemic, "we're all in this together" my arse

Not to be a lemon but what do you mean by a paper-based system? Were Safeway using a computerised system which Morrisons switched to paper?

Re: Old supermarket signage
That actually reminds me a few weeks ago I saw a Tesco lorry with the ancient "You shop we drop" tag line on it.
What does their new livery look like? If I'm honest off the top of my head I can't remember any other Tesco lorry liveries, apart from the you shop we drop and the one that has a giant ...
