Anyway…
I’m starting to get the tiniest inkling that some PCers aren’t that into the UKTV rebrand.
Pres Cafe Watch News and Information Board
If it lasts longer than a week, and gets more than 5 followers, and is created out of a love for presentation, rather than a hatred of people you don't know? Sure, go wild.

As unsatisfactory PC may be at times, they've always tolerated my ramblings so I'm grateful for that..
Will admit I've no idea what's gone on behind the scenes or any drama.
However for me, I find it much better having just the one forum than the hodgepodge of different forums we had at one time, even if I don't agree with some of the editorial or moderative decisions taken by the admins.

Blimey, that’s quite the statement, Phil.all new Phil wrote: ↑Sun 02 Jun, 2024 14.57 Anyway…
I’m starting to get the tiniest inkling that some PCers think the UKTV rebrand is the best thing to ever happen to British television.
(Well as Pete misquotes you, I assume doing so is mod authorised 😅)

I can see that working but there would have to be sensible ground rules.
You mean, like the one's Pres Cafe introduced? I think you'll find whatever your "sensible" rules are, a small number of people will have a problem with them.Tardisrotor wrote: ↑Fri 07 Jun, 2024 12.55 I can see that working but there would have to be sensible ground rules.

I also think people are sometimes forgetting there are already more options for your TV forum needs:-
- MediaTalkForum - consisting of about 10 posts this year since they popped up on here to spam it and then fled. A mix now of spam posts never removed, 'Nobby' asking repeatedly where the admin has gone, and another thread of people saying about how much they hate the mods on prescafe just incase the thread here wasn't enough.
- TV Ark Forum - where you can take your pick from threads about Challenge ECP scripts you remember, or no fewer than 5 different threads about closedowns from JonasIsTheBestDude.
- DigitalSpy Broadcasting - complete with a wide variety of topics to choose from where the same 5 or so members spout their engaging and eloquently put opinions on politics under the guise of being interested in 'presentation' ever since they closed down the official politics forum.
I'm on the David Lees Honor Roll!
Not just broadcasting, any programme or radio station with a whiff of political basis becomes a haven for political junkies.NiKepp wrote: ↑Fri 07 Jun, 2024 14.37 I also think people are sometimes forgetting there are already more options for your TV forum needs:-
So it's not like there's not already plenty of other choice out there if the cruel iron fist of other places just isn't doing it for you!
